Deligram
A full e-commerce site
In 2016, Waiz Rahim returned home with an engineering degree from the University of Southern California, at age 26. Instead, the young entrepreneur is plotting to build the Amazon of Bangladesh. It’s a far cry from the family business Rahimafrooz, a 66-year-old company.
The brief
Launched with a firm determination to revolutionize the eCommerce industry of a country. Deligram was already working with an external design team when I was hired. My role was to create and launch the MVP. Once the goal was achieved, I continued to help create a trustworthy and exciting brand identity that would set Deligram on a path toward success.

Zafree is an anomaly - a very rare combination of a great Design & Engineering mind. He always puts his keen effort to solve a team problem to move things forward.
Making something out of nothing
Logo, typeface and colors
Building brand identity, expression and tone is not that easy for a startup. We need someone’s hand to help here. Maverick Studios comes here to help us. We work together several months and the outcome is awesome.
Let’s start from scratch
Think local, scratch global
Pens stuck, brains freeze, eyes wide open. We’ve invested countless nights and hundreds of hours breaking down the problems into small pieces. Then finally one by one, everything started to make sense.
Zafree is excellent in understanding customer needs and designing product appropriately using excellent UX sense. He is very dedicated to the company and always takes ownership of anything which is beneficial to the company even that is beyond his role.
Home sweet home
A new website
People care less about the brilliant internal strategies but more about the end result. Conveying the outcome was the goal which we accomplished amazingly.

A set of custom icons
I supplemented the Deligram brand with clear, friendly and easy to understand iconography.
Zafree is undoubtedly the best digital product designer in Bangladesh. His superb UX sense, extreme skill sets in UI prototyping tools, deeper understanding of front-end technologies make him a true unicorn of the industry.
Pick a card, any card
Card-based product thumbnail
I designed a flexible system of cards. The thumbnails were designed in a way that lets users know the maximum details about their products.
I have seen him following a rule to understand the business first, then designing the product. Which made him a very organized product designer with great UX senses.
No Distraction, on your mind
Building a better checkout flow
For a successful ecommerce site, the shopping cart is arguably the most essential piece of the puzzle. I designed a “shopping bag” that doesn’t get in the way while you’re shopping but slides out from the left only at the moment when you need it.
I am very lucky to be able to work with him. One of the best UI and UX engineers I have ever met. In a word, his design sense is remarkable.
You can feel it
Deligram in the wild
In a sea of ecommerce platforms where the focus is more often on functionality than good looks, Deligram stands out as a beautifully crafted designed object and spreads good vibes. Our photos set out to capture that.
It’s working
